RE: Summer Holidays

You know that some campsites in Italy could be sold out.

Don't take the Gotthard Pass when crossing the Alps.
You might spend hours in the traffic jam.

Due to the cold summer, it could be snowy above 2000 meters.

I wish you a safe journey through Switzerland.

RE: Are you a good lover test?

I think this is the wrong website for this test.

Target audience for the test are people who do have a partner.

And they are not assumed to spend their time on dating websites.

RE: PROPERTY SITES GERMANY

Wondering why you are looking for German buyers.

There is no German equivalent of daft.ie available

You better advertise on daft.ie and wait for Germans to visit this website. The ones who are looking for Irish property are going there.

You may want to check out this website:

RE: Is it just me...............

No, it is not just you.

Websites tend to go from good to bad release by release

RE: For those of you going on holiday

I would strongly support this peace of advise.

Before I travel to Asian countries, I always contact local people that I find on dating websites.

Travelling in China, Korea or Japan is a lot easier when you know some friends there.

CH August 1st

I think each Kanton has its own celebrations.

I am looking for inspiration where it is best and where it is worst.

The people in Basel start to celebrate on 31st July.

RE: which european country has the best health care system

It is not Germany and it is not Ireland.

Switzerland also did not convince me about having a good health care system, but I would say it is better than Germany.

CH August 1st

On August 1st, Switzerland celebrates its birthday.

Any ideas, how to or where to celebrate this day?

RE: Three Words - Keep One Of Them

Where is she

RE: what you exactly looking for a partner?

I think if we all knew, what we are looking for, we would not spend decades on the internet to search for it.

I think my objective is to set up a family with her and growth old together. But most of the girls I found on the internet are only looking for fun and quickly move on to the next guy.

That is okay, as I do not expect to find Ms Right in here.
But maybe I am wrong and I do.

I am looking for someone who completes me.

RE: how many of u like to travel alone!!

Not sure if I like to travel alone, but given that there is no partner around, what else should I do.

My next trip goes to Southkorea
First to Seoul,
Then to a budhist temple
and finally to a lakeside holiday resort.

We will see how many new people I am meeting there.
Usually I meet taxi drivers, hotel receptionists, sales assistants or ticket vendors and when I am lucky, I meet a fellow traveller.

RE: Ladies do you send the men on this site flowers or mail?

I know it, I know it.

They do both, because I receive both.

RE: Do You Want to Get Married and Why?

I want, but I don't know who dunno

RE: World without borders

World without broders = streets without toll gates ?

RE: How was your day?

My day was great.

Just returned from an annual general meeting of a small stock company with about 50 shareholder.

The food and location was great. And the numbers showd signes of improvement.

But the highlight of today was, that a woman from Cuba marked an interest to work with me in a customer/contractor relationship.

RE: Malta

I was staying myself in Sliema for about a week.
There is not much to see and do in Sliema.

The tourist attractions are spread all over the island.

Make sure that your hotel is close to the bus stop,
that brings you to the city.

Travelling by bus is cheap and fun.

If you are looking for Unesco World Heritage, check for opening times. Some sites might be closed in February/ March.
Others can only be visited if you pre-book your visit.

RE: Amazing and Incredible India!!!

In my mind India is still incredible and amazing.

Haven't been there yet.

RE: Happiest years of my life

No, not yet.

Up to now, I did have a number of unforgetable moments.

When you first see the Pyramids of Giza or the Niagara Falls. This are moments I will always keep in good memory.

Maybe my trip to Japan shines above all.
It started in Kyoto, Himeji, Hiroshima, Tokushima and Mout Koyasan as special highlight.

I have never been a friend of superlatives cheering
So I don't have a list of what was best, and what was worst.

Greece

Just an update about my bond holdings.

In my view Greece is the country which is pissed off most by the crisis, so I am still holding only Greece government bonds.

I expect that Ireland will get help from U.K. and USA.
Belgium will get help from its neighbours.

Spain, they will cope with the situation.
As Germany recovered from the recession, they will make more holidays in their 17th bundesland (Mallorca).
Spain has to fight, but they will win.

Italy, they are always in a crisis - nothing special to care about.

Germany, or the big Kanton as it is called rolling on the floor laughing nobody knows that they are in trouble, so no crisis to expect there.

USA/China - it must be a kind of love / hate relationship. China would like to divorce, but cannot find another partner
dunno .

But back to the topic, Greek government bonds.
Last year, I received interest payments in a timely and professional manner, and I expect that they will pay this year too. I bought the bonds cheap, a hair cut of 20% is priced in.

Also I have got a bond from an Irish Life Insurance company in my portfolio, so far also no defaults, and no defaults expected.

A lot of trust and faith was destroyed in the last four years - crisis started in 2006 - and is still ongoing.
If we returned to our faith, we would gain back trust and self-confidence much quicker.
If you are Christian, then you know what you shall do tomorrow morning professor And afterwards goto a local dinner have some lunch and support the local economy.

RE: Would be nice for a user edit feature...

Hi All,
I am group admin.
And I would not like the idea if members can edit their messages as this might change the message flow.

Some website enable edit features for lets say 15 minutes.
So that the user can edit messages that were created in error.
This would be a nice feature.

What I miss is a function, that I can delete a message completely.
Or that could move messages from one Thread to another one.

Or if a thread better matches with another group, then transfer the thread to the other group.

regards

RE: Moving to U.K.

Accommodation has become affordable.
But apartements and houses are still expensive for average earners.

How about moving to Northampton.
A friend of mine is living there.
It is a nice place.

London is just one hour away by train.

Personally I think that your daughter and son-in law should make there own decisions.

Let them stay in Spain, if they want.

RE: Reagan insider: 'GOP destroyed U.S. economy'

I have finished reading this article.

My view is that the current crisis was triggered by the US Fed and its interest rates and monetary policies.

In general, I don´t disagree with this article.

We should discus, what the comeing apocalypse means to the rest of the world?

RE: Reagan insider: 'GOP destroyed U.S. economy'

Thanks for sharing.
The article is still online, just reading it.
