Yes and Mexico has so much to offer although at this time there are safety issues that the gov has not taken care of!

I havent been in Mexico either, but getting closer....
I dont have any really, I have emigrated 4 times and have crossed thru many EU countries, but Austria will always have a special place in my Heart....
Lets see what the US will do for me.....

my only travel destinations atm are beaches. love the beach that's why.

I havent been in Mexico either, but getting closer....
I dont have any really, I have emigrated 4 times and have crossed thru many EU countries, but Austria will always have a special place in my Heart....
Lets see what the US will do for me..... just another experience I guess....[/quote
any place can be interesting but people can be really something else. when I travel I try to mingle with locals and I get so much from them, how they live, how they set their priorities...
I know very little of Austris and I have live at USA Maine and Michigan for 3 and 2 yr and I had a great time there, with wonderful people Americans and from other countries.
I hope you get the best of USA!
and I hope USA will get the best of yours too

It is so true, I too try to ajust to the land I am on, but some countries are so different that ajusting is like being converted into something you will never be, Just like Finland . espically Lapland where I am, Its a total different world here, mostly that they are way behind with many things and boycote EU things, The people her dont discuss, they just obey....Like Monkey see, Monkey do kinda thing,
I stuck it out 3 years and had enough, I want to get back to civilization......back to a land of the living, and why not a better place than the USA..............I mean if I go, I go all the way, besides Austria aint going anywhere,I can always return if things dont work out...

I travel to meet the people there and to experience their life-style, first hand.I have met some very wonderful and diverse people in my time, and lived among them.
I tend to avoid "tourist" areas. Give me the smaller, off-the-beaten-path places any day.
My good friend and travel partner, Siggy and I have a trip planed to Baja. My next one, just do not know when it will be, except that we've planned it for Winter months and we will drive an old van there from San Luis Obispo, CA.
