I have........and married him. We are since divorced and I think, even though it was America I did miss things from my own country. Mostly food and things. Sometimes I thought I was on a different planet.
But yes I would do it again......if it were true love.
In response to: Is there anyone up for that ? as far as I see all seem to prefer ppl from their own region.
I always dreamed of meeting someone from another culture rather than my own ppl, so that would make the relationship a lot more fun. (sharing culture and experience, learning each other's language etc) let aside the inconvenience of long-distance.
I just wonder if there is anyone who thinks like me ?

It is because of this site that I made my 1st trip to Europe. It was a platonic relationship with an amazing woman.
So romanticly...."no"......aside from other regions within my own country.
....but are there other people who think like you?

I am living in another country so its quite likely and I am going to another country to meet someone so who knows! But lets be honest here there is going to be good and bad relationships all over the world within the same/different countries.
You never know till you try it - good luck with your search be it near or far.

One of my long time family friend is a Chinese Singaporean lady a few years younger than myself. She went to Canada for her tertiary studies n met n fell in love with a Canadian white man. They got married a few years ago n r now living in Canada. So yes, I think cross-cultural marriages r possible.
