Because these are the things that are character building in our lives. It's not what happens to you in life it's how you deal with it.What doesn't break you makes you stronger.

hi krisha... we all have our mountains to climb... but the important thing is that we have friends and family to support you through it and help keep you strong... and help make you strong when your broken... i found this support on cs these last difficult 4 months... and am thankful for all those who shared their own lives and experiences with me...

I like the challange, without it, don't think life will be rewarding and beautifull.

Not sure i can agree with that, some things are cruel and pointless and benefit no one.

Laura25: I too can't stand this "What doesn't break you makes you stronger" cliche...
There are some things and events in our lives that's impossible to comprehend.
If we knew what was going to happen in our lives we would all be psychics and have no need to come to the forums with our recurring problems. What I meant was that you either sink or swim by decisions you make in life.Good bad or indifferent they are choices that only we can make.
I do not know why stuff goes the way it goes. We all got something to go through. I guess life would not be life if it was not like that.

Life is cruel at times which is why we have to draw strength to deal with whatever comes our way.The forums are great but real life prevails and S--t happens.

life has its way of making it difficult for you at times, but you must remember those who love you and understand when you cannot be there in person, it does not make it any easier for you but if you remember it could help, you have people who are there for you all you have to do is ask

Yes it does, it depends what has happened, and it does NOT always benefit you in any shape or form

morgan5: I agree Laura, try telling it to people you have lost children
Sorry Morgan,I have lost plenty of people close to me at a very young age and about to have it happen again.I can't stop the process but deal with it the best way I can.We are all different in the way we handle grief

Then if it has made you a better person
All it has done in my family has caused pain and devastation.

You said it was character building is that not a benefit. I disagreed with your first post
Sorry i shan't post again, far to painful and we are looking at this in a different way
