Sarah Palin has just announced that she is stepping down as Govenor of Alaska and stepping out of the Government area. She has said that she can affect greater change outside of the political area. Some are already saying she is buckling under pressure. I watched the announcement and saw no such thing. Some are already saying she is prepping for a presidential run next term. What do you think? Please keep it clean and responsible.

My personal thought is, I would like to see her on a ticket with Romney. Either one has the spirit and intelligence to take back this country of mine.

I just do not see any Democrats that I like and I don't see our current President doing any good at all. From where I'm sitting, I see the U.S. as it is now, going to hell in a hand basket. And, NO, I agree Obama is not the root cause of this, but, in my veiw he is escalating the process.

We need someone to return our nation to greatness and Obama is going in the wrong direction. jmo

Oh you just think that she is cute.

I have to reserve my judgment about her becoming president...so far, she has not impressed me with her judgment.

Yeah, guilty, I agree, she is a fox. But there is something else there also, I think. I see leadership there and for some reason, I trust her. She clearly has smarts and did'nt get to where she is on looks and baby sitting money.
Pretty much every time a politicion opens their mouth, you know that nothing but lie's and deception are coming out. I don't sense that with her. dunno hug teddybear

Well we can talk about kids trips if you want to, but if we do, how about all the paid up trips that all those politicians take, I was not aware of the kids taking any trips that tax payers paid for, I thought it was the republican party.

I personally don't worry about the small stuff, I worry about someone with vision who does not play the game in Washington. Someone who tries to represent the people that elected him or her.

In my opinion we need to throw out all the bums in Washington we need a breath of fresh air, and having met Sarah and her family I was impressed. (still am) You have to remember what most people see is what the media presents and we all know how left leaning the media has been for years!

I would vote for her and Romney in a New York second with either one at the top!

She has paid that back! I think a lot of people are nit picking. I like her old fashion family values. She never would have been elected governor had she not had the 'goods' to run the state. Do you realize how much responsibility she has, just from a military standpoint? Her finger and her say so can send missles flying into N Korea, Russia, China...while I know very little about her as a person and a politician, I do know there have'nt been any bomb drops on her watch. The people who I percieve that are against her are the people who want to maintain the status quo with spending etc. Those people say they want change, but block every opportunity that arises for it. jmo

Anyone who is a Young Earth Creationist, has already lost my vote. Is "God" that capricious that he's got to play stupid games with the fossil record? doh

A couple of thousand years ago, the Earth "was flat and swam through nothingness on the back of a giant turtle". A few centuries ago, heliocentric beliefs were grounds for torture and execution, or at the very least, house arrest(Galileo).

And now, despite quantum theory, radiocarbon dating, and various other scientific tools at our disposal, there are still Luddites who think dinosaurs lived alongside humans, and will not accept any evidence to the contrary. All because some book with extremely questionable authority was used by sheep-herders to calculate a total age of Earthly existence at 6000 years.

Any evidence to the contrary is the work of Satan, and the Great Turtle still swims through the ether with a flat-Earth on its back.

"Si moveo." mumbling

Well, that happens all of the time you know.
Everyone blames Sarah for what her daughter did. Imo, the daughter should have shown enough restraint or been more careful to not cause her mother embarrassment while running for office. I'm not fond of Sarah, but I think she handled it as well as she could.

Coming from you...doh

I think she might have more intelligent brain matter in her little 'pinky' than the sum total of the person from Cal.roll eyes

If anyting, I applaud her as a person, mother, politician and a Patriot. If a woman is to be a future president here in the U.S. I would opt for her before a Clinton. From what I have SEEN and WITNESSED of her, I think she has stronger morals and values than a lot of fellow politicians, Kennedy's included. thumbs up
