If you have love, you're richer than if you only have money but no love.
Polarbutterfly: Yet,money can't buy love. I don't have any money, well maybe some but I can give me and the love that I know I have.
true, but you have to be able to offer something in the form of security, mainly for the man to provide, i could not venture in a relationship with out being able to put a roof over their head and food on the table, not saying you have to be rich but at least offer some security, how many would marry a homeless man knowing you had no roof over their head...or where the next meal was coming from

see your point but in this case i think the op is referring to choosing someone with money over love...........the basic tangible things are certainly a requirement for anyone im sure........i certainly wont choose a man that is living on the street that cannot contribute to a relationship with respect to shared responsibilities, rent, food, utilities ect .....but at the same time it wont stop me from loving him and wanting to reach out and help him get there
Yes Cas,I understand where you're coming from. The first impression does make a hell of a lot a difference. But,if two people know eachother and feel that love can withstand anything, isn't love worth fighting for?

I would hope the man I'm with has enough money to support himself. I'm not looking for any skid-row bum. I'm also not looking for a man to support me, I can do that myself. It might be a little different if you had children together. They cost lost of $$$$. I wish I could be all dreamy eyed and say that all a couple needs is love, but then it would start sounding like one of the Beatles songs. ;) All you need is love love, love is all you need. lol
