I will join you guys - met somebody on the internet - we did the whole jig - webcam, phonecalls, sms's, then he came to visit me in my country and blow me down, he was really wonderful but no chemistry at all - really lovely, lovely bloke but as I said no chemistry from both parties may I add and since I am not looking for even more friends but a serious partner, felt it was a waste of time, I will settle for the real deal.
Maybe this right for other people but i think I can give it a miss because I think I am taking the easy way out of meeting a partner.
First of all Africa is a CONTINENT not a country. From reading this thread more than half of you do not that. Like all CONTINENTS there are troubled countries in a continent. Lack of food and education is never the problem, It is the symptoms of a rotten government.
It pisses me off when many people have no concept of Africa except what they see on TV. When they cannot identify the difference from a country to a continent in Africa and then want to be authorities of the problems in *Africa*
Please stop showing your ignorance by keep on insisting birth control. When some countries do not have the basics to survive where are they going to get the BC from?
Just to add to what everyone else said - SCAM - the mods have scam warning all over the site - pay attention, be alert, never send money to anyone you have never met in person - and dont fall in love with somebody you have not met in person!!!
Life is way too difficult without money - and since love has always eluded me - will settle for money - at least i can pay for illusions afterall that is what i had with love LOL
Give the OP a break not everybody of this world is jaded or cynical - I have met some people of extreme naivity that I actually felt between afraid and envy for them.
Sorry dear people you meet should not want money from you - they should have a support system when things go wrong.
Think of it like this - if you needed money badly, who would you go to? If it was for business it would be the bank, if it was personal, it would be family or very close friends.
You were smart though - there are too many "greedy" people out there - keep safe
