Maybe they are more in tune with the world and can relate important ideas. Many of the older friends I have had claimed that they found younger people exciting and able to discuss open-mindedly the changing cultural ideals. In addition, having a vital partner may make life easier, may be able to spend more years together and/or with children and family. In addition, a younger person may be able to relate to young adults better. There are many positives.
