Apparently nothing else that I have achieved in life means anything and I have somehow failed unless I have a man on my arm. Are they right ? Or am i now paranoid?!

Well if you think you have it bad, my aunt told me at a funeral last November that she was fed up meeting up at funerals and for me to hurry up cause she wanted a wedding.luking4loyalty: why is it ,that when I turn up at a family 'do' the first thing thats pointed out is that im on my own. Even in this day and age, alot of the time a woman's success is based on her ability to get, and keep a man. Utter rubbish, of course, but STILL the way of the world, sometimes..
Only you know where you are in life, so just ignore the ones that judge you for only what is hanging on your arm..

You're not being paranoid, I get that too. Family get annoying passing hints that you should be with somebody, like 'any man in your life' or 'you'll be next now (with refernece to weddings and nbabies)'.
