amahlala: Today it is official....the last child out of the house...on to adventures....new beginnings for him and new beginnings for me!

They all come back once or twice before they are really gone. First time they are out of the house, but not out of your checkbook or freezer. Second time they are out of your freezer, but still in your checkbook. The third time they are out!

Be prepare to enjoy your children for a while more into the near future....

Ah so you understand the real process of your 'empty nest' situation. Good luck working through it. Do you have a plan for your spare time when it really does show up?

With the bad economy the rules might be changed! I assume many of our children might need to come in for an extended time... What else are we going to do, but take care of them if they need us? Hell I have to spend my money somewhere. It will be well spent on them than anything else I do.
