friends4now: I need help
I live on what's known as the Space Coast (for those international)
I can walk outside my front door and watch the shuttle lift off which I take advantage of and mainly watch on tv. The only time I watch it outside is night launches-they are spectacular!
Now there is supposed to be a night launch tonight actually at 1:36AM US EST
I have been up since 5:30am and am very tiredkeep me awake please I need pictures may be last night launch
I have turned on my IM if you feel up to it

Did you know why the launch has to be at 1:36 AM? 
"To reach the space station, Discovery must be launched when Earth's rotation carries the launch pad into the plane of the station's orbit. For mission STS-128, that will happen at 1:36:05 a.m. ET on Tuesday." - NASA.

Did you know that if you took off in a spacecraft at 3 times the speed of light and waved out the window when you took off, you could actually see yourself waving out the window when you were 100 miles up !!

people on drugs tend to be very funny to those not on drugs
