tarnsnz: Do your family and friends know you are on a dating site or sites?
I was only on one other which was a paid site and i have just cancelled.
My boys know and my friends and even my work colleagues know as i don't care what anyone thinks as it is my life and my choice to what i do.
But funny enought my son told me today he went for a drive to his nanas & grandads with my ex and apparently ex's brother found me on site and told everyone
And my ex mother in law who no longer speaks to me since spliting with her son (and we were very close) said i am not getting involved lol.
I was laughing to myself about it today, as my ears must of been burning as i wondered if it was this site or other site because i think if its this site - i would be pissing myself as to the things i write in the forums
and my dress costumes , maybe they are totally shocked
so anyone they are reading this, "it's my life and i can do what i damn well please, like it or lump it, i am a free woman" So, come on, i would luv to hear what your family & friends think, or do they know or not know

Hi Tarns, my friends and sons know, told my mum, she thinks im nuts, but it is my life she says, go for it she reckons. I dont think my ex knows but he may, dont give a damn about him any more any way, except to help the police in prosecuting him lol
My friends, my sisters know but my kids don't, my X I think knows but I don't really care because I am free and enjoying my life once again.

interesting so far with what people say. So do you think you will tell your kids risky since they are older or prefer they didnt know.
I'm lucky i have people in my life who don't see it as a big deal...and even if they did, they'd know well enough to leave me be!! I am who i WANNA be, people who love me will stick around, those who won't....oh well, their loss!! :) I choose my friends wisely! Always helps!! and aside from that my family ROCK...!!!

they know you too well shell and we are not real, is those pills again p.s. mum and her hubby got married last year 'reverse gender' style...it was all over the new's and on 'today tonight'...some people would frown on that, but they took their vow's seriously and had LOADS of fun!!

yeah there always going to be the one that frown on it - mind you, there are alot of boring people out there with no sense of humour at all make some wonderful memories i say!! What your doing here doesn't involve other's...it's your thing, one of the many thing's you do to give yourself a laugh and to relax....you should juice it up, just in case somebody is watching!! hehe that'll give'em something to talk about!
tarnsnz: i totally agree, i think internet is great and better than meeting someone at a pub as you are really going meeting someone on face value and can sometimes get ya in trouble
but also there are still alot of people whom frown at the idea of meeting someone on a computer - think moreso of people that dont actually use the internet, so have no idea what it is all about.

years ago when I first started using the net and meeting men (mainly) in adult chatsites.. and I would occasionally click with a few of them enough to meet .. my family and friends thought it was dangerous and I suppose it can be if your not careful
now I dont advertise it really.. mainly because I am not here to meet anyone.. so if I do talk about it.. I say.. these forums I post in..
