Yeah...the popping gum thing gets under my skin really bad. I have to listen to someone in every class, every day, popping gum. It's very disruptive to the class. I wish they could see their self chewing it.

I do.....popping gum, eating with your mouth open, not pulling your own weight, being negative and talking badly about people, blowing your nose at the dinner table, peeing all over the toilet and back wall, not throwing stuff in the trash (leaving it lying on the counter)....I'll stop there.

Yes, we all probably have many peeves.
Some things are just mildly annoying, for example people who queue jump. British people are brought up to queue in an orderly fashion...or at least they used to be! Here in Spain, nobody thinks twice about jumping a queue, but I´m getting used to it now.
There is one thing that not only annoys me, but makes me physically sick, and that is cracking bones. You know, when people deliberately bend and crack the bones in their fingers. Eeewwww!

Don't chew gum but do pop my knuckles, no extra pounds on me so see no reason to pull my own weight, everyone but me sucks a big red dead one, I do step a couple steps away from the table when I blow my nose but too lazy to get up and leave to break wind, Never hit the back wall, I do have manners ya know!! I brush "stuff" off the counter onto the floor, leave'n "stuff" on the counter is a pet peeve of mine too. Reckon I better stop here before ALLLLL you women go think'n I'm perfect!!

I used to brush the crumbs off the table and counter when I had an inside dog. She loved it....treats. Do you catch the thread about meeting parents. You are not officially part of my family until my dad lets one roll at the dinner table. He was a truck driver for over 30 years. He can blow his nose, let a fart and eat all at the same time.

Guess I missed that thread woodz. Treats for the dog, she licks the plates and bowls before I wash'm. Really I'm a very tidy house keeper, probably too tidy. Your dad sounds like a great guy!!

Oh, another thing. People who have cats and let them wander around the kitchen surfaces. Yuk!
If they ask me if I want a cup of tea or coffee.....even worse, a bite to eat, I always decline politely.

Yeah...he is just a hoot!
