RobertC2: I got my mum back to this island from the main island two/three weeks ago. Here I can visit her every day. She's much happier and has more visitors. There is an added bonus - the cost of the place here is much less than over in the main island even though the care and even the food here is better.
She was sharing a large room with three ladies - two were mobile and another lady was bedridden but very nice; unfortunately my mother kept shouting out at night for painkillers and disturbed the other ladies so much that she now has her own room to herself.
I'm not so happy as I feel she needs the human contact.
She seems to be in a lot of pain. Today I should be able to get a prescription for drugs for her that they cannot give her in the hospital nursing home as they are too expensive for the government to provide free of charge.
I think the care is excellent and fantastic value; instead of paying up to $750 per week here it'll only be about $100 per week - truly amazing!
Oh wow...that is a HUGE difference!! Well at least you can see her daily. And with the added bonuses...sounds to me like she'll do better where she's at now. Give her a hug for me. And keep me updated.
RobertC2: The 'ok' stuff is to show he is manly man and not prepared to enter into idle chit chat....... after about six more 'ok's' he'll probalby expand his grunts to:

I try to avoid hugging her - really I do. She scares me. She likes to twist my ear really hard with her one good hand. It makes me cry. I am a grown man. The nurses don't like seeing a grown man cry. The other day it took a really nice nurse five minutes to calm me down. I cried into her ample bosum. It was VERY nice. I kinda forgive my mum!

The nurses love me visiting. They do twelve hour shifts. They have a hard job to do and sometimes look a bit stressed and unhappy. I take them chocolates and flowers to cheer them up. I like to make people smile. I'm basically a nice guy.
I go to visit the nurses more than to see my mum; don't tell her that though, or she'll hurt me again!

It'll be our little secret. Wouldn't do anything to mess up your day
