caspatch: the dnr gave an extra license when you bought one, you donated that deer to the locker for the old folks homes, deer were eating the farmers corn as they couldn't pick it with all the snow, that was in the mid 80's.. dnr had snowplows cutting trails hauling in hay
Heck patch, that's neat Game & Fish????? would give extra tags and donate to the needy. That's a great idea. Wyoming wouldn't think of it. Us hunters see to it the needy always get some meat tho. Wyoming doesn't need to feed any hat patch!!!! The moose, elk and deer do just fine tear'n down the hat stacks the ranchers have!!!

i will hear it from my boys and other ones out east but their white tail is nothing but a good size german shepard even here in the ozarks the deer aren't as big, iowa white tail are fair eating as they are all corn fed, but the muley were specially good that year and yes it was a lot of meat but had three teenage boys it was eaten and i went to california in march for three months and took a large suitcase full of deer every trip back never carried clothes lol empty going home full going back

I went to Chang Mai, Chang Rai and Golden Triangle (as well as Bangkok and other towns in between). The surrounding countryside I saw while on the train reminded me of Aus

Nothing wrong with caching away meat patch, no matter how much it is. My nephews will brag about how big their Whitetails are. And there could be some good sized ones back there. My youngest nephew keeps get'n the bigger bucks. The pics they send the deer still don't look like they are very sizable. Maybe they'll make it out here some winter. I'd like for 'em to see some of these big Muleys. The KY deer didn't hold any brag'n rights as far as their size went either patch
