Some are dreamers, some are poets, philosophers,Neandrathals, thrill seekers, party animals, resolutionists and soldiers. Some reserved and humble, some outgoing and wild; Young, Old, In Between, Men, Women, Gentlemen and Ladies, Someones Father, Someones Mother Legends In Our own Minds......... I've been a member of C.S. for 4 months now and have visited with some of the nicest and most interesting people and for the most part it has been real and it has been fun. However I have seen people almost lose themselves here and probably many that have. Mystical Illusions, Grand Schemes, Power Of Suggestion......... It's o.k. to be lonely here and theres nothing wrong with seeking exceptance and solice within a circle of people who for the most part are all going through simuliar phases in their lives yet at different angles and different points. Do you change and grow or do you lose your true self in the process? How many people do you truely know and how much is just an illusion, a smoke screen words on a moniter. We can paint pretty pictures with descriptive enough vocabulary and presume to do things and see things that up until now have only been fantasy and fascination. If a person on the first day here were to go into the forums and read all of the threads and posts they would assume for the most part people here are social alcoholics that most generally think with their limbidoes and look only with their eyes and never feel with their hearts or see from within. This my friends is the Grandest Illusion yet because if you stick around and pull up a chair you actually find most here always feel with their hearts, take in the whole picture with their eyes and pour their souls into the keyboards. It's a place where people can create and re-create who they are, where they've been and how they perceive life in general. A place where you can laugh and you can cry and you can vent and someone will laugh with you, cry with you and even allow you to vent. Though they may not alway's agree; They listen. The door is alway's open....
Always believe some....Never believe too much.... And never question that which makes you truely unique in your own way........ Your-Self
Most of you don't know me; I seldom post but visit regularly and for the most part I think your all a great bunch of people. You stimulate ones mind, challenge ones thoughts and warm ones heart And on a lighter note create great reading material.
Thanks Peg for your well versed words and for inspiring more to us than the more typical person above/below, crush for, hot or not or boo-hoo-hoo threads....
Keep reading, keep learning, keep posting, keep being true to you...
Peg, My dear baby sister, I feel as though you are talking directly to me. I do get lost in here and find these people to be friends and let me be me. But at other times I will be the first to admit that lonliness takes over, sometimes a little to much to drink and I get carried away. I thank God that Ihave you so near little sister. We are good for each other and at times when I get to soaring to high, or think hey Peg this person really does care about me and who I am, then you smack me(lol) bring me back to the hear and now and tell me they are just words on a computer screen. Except for a very few I know that there words really do come from there hearts. Thank You Peg, For standing by me these past few years and helping me to see I still have many reasons to stay on this earth. I love you, Linda
Will alway's and forever be here for you as I know You will be for me. We are from the same blood line remember although I'm sure there have been a few times you would have liked To forget and likewise.....LOL Love ya Sis
