petalbabe: Hi Larry..

Thats for that; its good to share..

The ONLY reason we did it, to be honest, was for a little extra cash for all the immigration stuff. Neither of us really wanted it at all.

Its not worth it, and I thought I was going to have a breakdown earlier this morning due to all the stress..

Once this character is out, thats it.

From what I am hearing here, we all seem to be in general agreement for once! The tenant has far too many rights in current law..

Yea i have been thru some of these obsticles, i just invent another was to make extra Money, even if you did Crafts in that area, and sell them at the local fair or circus, just an alternative that may be more enjoyable,

even buy and sel antique furnitchure , just things to give your mind, Money, hope and peace.... so I am just activating your thinker.... Sell pies or 15 Bean soup Ha ha harolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

Geez Petal, what an ordeal. If he's in violation of the contract, give him notice in accordance to the one you signed with him. Seems you have the problem under control now though. I agree with you. Do not rent a room in your house. My parents did it once and it didn't work either (except that my parents were at fault in that case doh).

Yep.thumbs up

We have discussed it this morning, obviously, and we both agreed that we made a HUGE mistake in rushing things. I have explained the reasons for that, but even so, it was rash. Although we do not intend to rent ever again, it has still been a lesson learned..doh

Jesse has rented out in the past, but only to friends, and luckily that all worked out. This was different, and is just not worth the hassle.

Thank you so much Scuba for your posts. I needed to speak to sane, intelligent people today!!laugh thumbs up

Well, as it happens, Larry, all is well now as regards the financial side of things. We were just panicking really..uh oh laugh

The big lesson this has taught me is that nothing, absolutely nothing, can be substituted for peace, quiet and your own space..bouquet

A friend of mine rented her apartment out here in Spain to an English family. All was well for the first few months then they stopped paying the rent!

After a year they moved out to a place across the road and took all her furniture with them!

You can make denuncias in Spain, but they are frankly not worth the paper that they are printed on. As for taking them to court over here it takes at least 3 months before you can get a Judge to decide if there will BE a court case then wait years for it to take place.Even then if the people being sued don't turn up for the hearing it just gets postponed.

Better not to rent your home out unless you absolutely have to.

Hi Best..wave

Yes, again I agree here.

We have a week's worth of deposit monies, and he will only get that back once we have inspected the rooms on Sunday and are satisfied.

Id rather live in a cardboard box and be happy, than share my space with someone like that again..mumbling laugh
