It's ILLEGAL immigration that Americans have a problem with,not immigration itself! I personally feel that many love placing the blame on the worlds problems on America.

I am sure most of our ancestors came here without permission from the inhabitants... I've always wondered why you have to have a "title search" every time a piece of real estate changes hands.... and the title never goes back beyond written titles.

As regards the fact that America is insular, thats not true.
I went out tonight, and had a conversation tonight about the IRA, and the general position in Ireland and the US, and also the Hispanic Situation as regards to immigration.
US people are generally very interested in what is going on in the world. Certainly they were as regards the Irish/American Situation.

The title search protects the new buyer from liens being placed on the property by the prior owners; such as, a second mortgage, etc.
