Us men do go thru Hormone Changes as well, as we all have a mixed Balance of Male and Female Hormones, Tho we dont Bleed, I thing for men it come out of the Mouth

caspatch: why do women hate to admit when they start going through menopause, it is natural and part of life, my sister said she started through her's in her early 40's she knew she was unbearable to live with, hated it, but didn't know why she felt the way she did, but that was 40 years ago and they didn't talk about such things, today is much different and things are more openly discussed yet some women don't want to admit or even consider that may be their change causing their emotions to go crazy, with men it is mid life crisis and we can't explain some of the crap we pull just out for discusion

I think i came out my mum's womb with the menopause,for me its no big deal caspatch and i cope fine with it, i always laugh about it and i dont take any kind of medication for it.

I agree, i had a hysterectomy when i was 29 and felt as if a chapter in my life had closed, as a women i felt inadequate and useless. It's because they don't want to admit that there is a problem. It's like oil fired central heating, if you run out of oil the system goes down.Same with hormones.

i watched my mom go through menopause and didnt know what it was, she would go through bouts of depression and we never knew what was going on, it was a sad thing. By age 39 she had 11 children, being married at the tender age of 14 and started making babies from that age we all thought that her mood swings and bouts of anger had to do with having that kinda responsibility from such a young age. It takes a year for a woman's body to recover and mend itself back to health after giving birth to a child, imagine by age 39 having 11 children and then starting menopause from age 42. I often wonder if and is afraid that i may end up going through menopause at a young age too.

I don't have a clue what other women do but I went through surgical menopause 15 years ago and I never felt or saw any difference other than relief that I didn't have to put up with THAT every single month. All the ups and downs of hormone cycles were gone and so was PMS.

i got up one morning to find out she filed for divorce, out of nowhere, we got a long great, i said if that's what you wantand went down and signed the papers for her 2 years later she showed up at my door and wanted to know if i ever thought of getting back together, i declined but we are still friends
