Gosh how I miss travelling...I've lived in Japan, Germany, South Africa, Brazil...but now I'm just a broke college student haha. Once I graduate though, that will change! CompSci majors are starting out just shy of $100,000 a year. I'll travel everywhere I haven't been to and then start over!
I'm sure I'll check back from time to time if I get a message notification in my real email inbox. But as far as coming here to try and initiate conversation with potential women, those days are gone ;-) Unless solsticemoon wants to come to America and marry me, bwahahaa.

I think your decision is a bit premature. I think you should give it allot more time. You really need to give this online stuff at least 6 months and that's a very conservative time span. I would first lower you expectations and just look to have some fun.
You'll find allot of nice people on this site to just have fun, delve into all kinds of intellectual discourses, flirt, or just humor. You can create blogs, forums, ecards, articles, best of 10, poems and more. You haven't even scratched the surface yet.
In other words you have not given this site a chance!!
