you are sitting on the side of the road, in your car doing your job, when suddely another call pulls up next to you and without warning the occupant/s open fire.... the only motive that makes any sense? because your car says "police" on its side...
no its not a movie or a fictional story, this just happened here on Halloween....
i know we hate them, they are pigs after all. they are all corupt and mean (and the fact that they deal with the scum of society is not a valid excuse to be always guarded right?), plus that's what they chose to do, getting beaten, stabbed and shot at comes with the territory... wanting to go home to their families in the same condition as they went to work should NOT be a reasonable expectation for them right?
... still the human side of me cant help it but feel pain sorrow and a significant amount of anger for such brazen act... i know this happens to non-cops all too often but when a man in uniform is targeted like this, i think it shows not just disregard for the law but for human life and society in general.. i mean hell if you are willing to take out a cop.... a civilian would almost be child's play no?
in any case.. i just wanted to honor a fallen hero, who took an oath to protect those who, albeit hateful for his undertaking, are regularly targeted by savage, worthless complete wastes of oxygen....i pray for his family and those who proudly keep fighting the good fight and for their safety

I'm curious as to why you say "I know we hate them; they are pigs after all. They are all corrupt and mean," and then go on to defend them and their honor.
First of all, that is not true and, secondly, speak for yourself. We do not ALL hate them. And they are not pigs. The only people who think that way are the scum that cops are putting their lives on the line to protect us from.

This is so sad. My thoughts are with his family & his fellow colleagues.
i agree... they are not in my book... and maybe some day those who think they are cos they got a ticket or cos he/she was rude to them may understand why it is that they have to be that way !!!!

I am sure you don't realize who you're talking to!
Englishman55: Agree with everything you said there Seek.
A tough and thankless job... one that I could not do myself and one I have much addmiration for anyone that can.
I sincerely hope this does not put off any other brave guys and girls from joining up.
My thoughts to the family and loved ones.
RIP
it sure is a thankless job... many of them start to get the "us vs everyone" mentallity after a while of hearing nothing but negative stuff about their profession.... and im sure at some point that may get to some of them.... !!!
much like people get upset and tired of hearing "all men/women are _______ (fill in the blank)"
