In response to: WHY WAS THE VERTERAN'S DAY THREAD LOCKED??????? THANK YOU FOR YOUR REPLY TO COME!
C'mon,Moderators! Since you feel qualified to be the moral compass for others, why don't you step up to the plate and take care of this? If it weren't for Veterans,we wouldn't have what we have now. You got something against our Veterans?
The Veteran's Day thread was full of offensive comments and fighting which were not appropriate or respectful of the topic. The posts were removed.
The thread was locked instead of removed to allow others to read the the tributes that had been entered while putting a stop to the bickering which was obviously escalating and continuing.
Moral compassing is not our job... keeping the peace is.
scarwolve: i suppose i understand that there the drafted. seems i should try and remember the history of the war.
i see some element of truth on regardless on if a wars pointless, but shouldnt the victims be honoured to. i mean it wasnt just the soldiers who suffered..
sorry...but, didn't the other side have guns too?
History is written by the victors...but even victors suffer their shares of defeat and victims...the defeated experience some victories as well...
Both sides have Veterans...both sides thought at the moment that they were fighting for the right causes... But the final victor got to write the story...
