What's everybody making for Thanksgiving?

I'm going to be conscripted into the pie patrol this year. I proved I was worthy with my apple pie this fall.

(tosses Jeepers two cans of sardines in mustard sauce, a large bottle of chocolate Yoo-Hoo, a bag of store brand frosted wheat squares, a half gallon of eggnog and a Cornish game hen.)

Doing something a little different this year.

Appetizer - puff pastry shells with shrimp and mushroom filling
Soup - Shrimp and crab bisque
Salad - Greek; tomatoes, onions, and kalamata olives drizzled with fresh lemon juice.

Main Course - Lamb en Crout. Boneless leg of lamb stuffed with pork sausage and bacon baked in a pastry shell
Roasted potatoes
Asparagus
Fresh baguettes

Dessert - Carmel apple tart.

I made 2 apple pies tonight because my dad can't stop ranting about my apple pies. We have one of those spinny apple peeler things. It's like playing with a toy. It's even red. The recipe from a magazine uses store bought pie crusts and crumbles on top and I used johnathan apples. I went around and smelled all the apples in the Jewel until I found the kind I wanted. Jewel only had one kind of apple with he right smell.
