at least you still have a job I lost mine before the economy collapsed and it has been nearly impossible to find work other than a house cleaning job every once in awhile

I lost my job. They shut the whole plant of 750 people down and sent our jobs overseas. I still have no job.
Here's a twist for ya....My washing machine broke this weekend. I get another one. They come and install it today. I put a load of clothes in and take a quick trip to the store. When I come back into the door my kitchen and laundry room is under water. Do I qualify?
Then, when I call the store to try to get the man to come back, they tell me that they can't guarantee that someone will call me today.
OK.....I lost it! I blessed the poor man on the other end of the phone out....my son went running to his room. I told him to make it happen. Now somebody else is having a bad day!

Yes that definitely qualifies. Water damage is not good. This is exactly the kind of posts I was hoping for. It will help me put my little problem into perspective!

Hey Hun! It really sucks what happened to you, but hold your head up....things are gonna work out. Life just has a different plan for ya right now. Keep a positive attitude and continue trying to see the humor in things. When we are able to do that, then we see how we are actually really blessed compared to some people.

In all fairness, the hospitality industry has been very slow(otherwise I wouldn't be on CS with you) and I suppose if I had to admit it, I would likely do the same thing if I was an employer whose business was about to go under.
