Tuscany is the region though. Where I stayed with my cousins was in Algliana Montana, near the ancient city of Pistoia, about an hour from Florence.

Yes, I have one. applause

A report for you, that is.laugh

They were sooooo nice looking. I'm in love!smitten

I came away with a glossy mag full of them! It has a vivid blue cover with sepia coloured photo of a scene from "Roman Holiday", of Gregory Peck on a vespa, Audrey Hepburn sitting on the handle bars, and the other journo perched on the back.

I found out so much about them, from the Italian salesman. The Vespas are all hand made in Italy and all metal. Piaggio (they own Vespa) make similar models, with all Italian parts, plastic outer, not metal, and assembled at the factory in China, to produce a budget version.

Now I can pin up a pic of one and focus on it being mine.head banger

Her whole personality was incredible, going from being a major star to charity work for UNICEF until close to when she passed away, she is probably a great role model
