I was lucky enough to be in the Red Sea working on a boat faraway enough from land to not have any light pollution, and the beauty of the full moon lit up the boat, the surrounding sea and all the other boats in the area.
In that part of the world, there are very few clouds, and you could see all of the stars and the moon was so clear.

I dont have any photos of the night trip, but I have loads of underwater ones of marine life, and stuff .. but one of them, always gives me a very interesting feeling.
It is a photo of an underwater cave. It is completely covered by coral, so that inside the sand has not been disturbed by the current, and the fantastic structures were intact.
But as I went into this cave, and this was about 6 years ago, I felt complete peace. I was diving on my own, which isnt really allowed, but as I was on a pleasure dive to take some photos, and I was in charge, I told myself to be careful!
I have only ever felt the same peace in my life one time since.
But I was so overcome with the peacefulness and I could feel my heart slowing right down .. which in itself is a worry because I am always very relaxed when I dive, and my heartbeat when I dive is lower 60s.
Its less than when I rest on the surface!!!
I just heard myself say, this is my final resting place. This will be where I want to be - finally.
So, I took some photos, and only the one came out that was any good.
But it is of the entrance of the cave and the light is streaming through the overhead coral, and its making a beam to the flat sand.
Every time I look at it, I remember the complete peace I felt.
Incredibly strong feeling ...

I don't believe it changes my mood in any way. I do know that it can have an effect on lots of people though. I've been an EMT for over 16 years now and it can get pretty wild around the full moon. When I was bartending, it seemed like every weirdo and lunatic was out on the night of the full moon. I guess me feeding them alcohol didn't help them much either...I'd always have at least one fight in the bar on the night of a full moon.
I love the full moon! Though it does seem to have an effect on my energy levels, I seem to have more energy to do things during the full moon 
Maybe I should have someone look into that
