sukatai: No never taught i would get there,, rode to many pigs an no hopers, was lucky to get round on most of them really, when things never look like brightening up you need to call it a day and move on.

ya thats about it, my face didn't fit with the like of hendersons and such, but yet they gave me the scabs at home when suited, it a tough game if u not of some high morals to likes of him, small trainers the best for chances.

its a pity.. i really admire mr evans, his jockeys must be over the moon.. he runs his horses every week or 2, and he is in my opinion, the best small trainer around the past year.. he gets wins out of muck horses too... jockeys there must be thrilled with all the rides

Ah ya the small ones are realists and are happy to just have what they have, they listen to everyones opinions about any horse and work on that,, most big trainers if you say this lad dont feel right,, you will get jocked off next day as thet dont want to hear it at all,, it all about the training fees each week they think about

I have been doing theropy with bad mannered or trauma horses, wanted totrain bt to do the course in currargh you need 10,000 as colateral and at least a 5 furlong gallop with 3 island fences and 3 hurdles if u going jumpin, and then i think it is u need at least 5 horses and 5 runners in first season,, to much red tape unless you have facilites or cash,, they trying to cut down on small trainers, be grand if lived in the curragh,, you pay ur fees to use the facilites

jesus you have a tough job there... it is an expensive game, but its true that money follows money... hard working people like yourself dont get a look in and its not fair is it?

Ah theres a small handfull that get the support, but the majority are from racing backgrounds or related some way. jockeys riding for god fathers and uncles, and some trainers taking over family business, most of the stable staff are the poor ones and it them does all the real hard work, they are forgotten heroes in a big game. Fair play to them all for doing it with hardly any regognition for there work.

thats very true.. i see on the races a lot, the woman or guy that looks after the horse seems to be the only person crying with joy when the horse wins.. its all about greed and money for the rest... i dont know if im wrong there or not though..
sorry data, new rules were put in place... selections have to be in the night before... sorry dude, its to prevent people copying tipsters and stop them following gambles..

your right,, the lad or lass with spend all day every day with there horses and know them inside out,, they become family friends and ya chat to them like people,, the trainer esp in big yard get to see them for a small section of day gallops and maybe check in the eveening, and the owners maybe only 3 or 4 times a year when they running, i've known staff to break down badly if there horse was hurt at all. Some staff bet there days expences on there nag even though they know it wont win,, but they always have a trust and belif that the owners seem to dismiss.
