No, that is the worst mistake a couple can make. Better to remain frineds and both be committed to the best welfare of the Child in joint parenting.
If Love develops then, discussions and decisions can be made if the Love is mutual for both persons.
A Marriage sould always be based on Friendship, Love and commitment NOT because of a Child.

Hey, lots of people start out in love, get married, have kids, and then fall out of love - like all the single parents here. So maybe a marriage that starts out loveless would work out relatively well because the people won't go into it expecting life to be like a Disney Fairy Tale.
