Same thing happened me when i was 12.wide awake in bed at 3 in morn and cud feel my dog movin on my legs 4 ages.then i heard barking downstairs so was like whats on my legs!i tried sit up but something holdin me down!scared the bejesus outa me whatever it was!

That's the crux of it Wobbie. There is no more logic in my view to a belief in God than there is to a belief in Santa or the Tooth Fairy.
If people want to believe in God, more power to them , just so long as they don't harp on about how they 'know the truth'.
Incidentally My last appearance in a church was also for my Niece's christening and I was actually the Godfather, but I did it out of loyalty to my sister than any elusive beardy guy up in the sky who sends people to hell for being Gay, Atheist or 'the wrong sort of christian.'

Well i do believe in God and i have lost both my parents and what keeps me going is the hope that i will see them again when i die and i think its up to everyone to believe in what they choose to believe in and i dont feel i need to explain my beliefs to anyone.

its no joke ,when the weight came down beside me i could feel myself raisin a bit ,as u would if some1 sat at the edge,im hopein it was me dads dad,?and ya rubbin me gently ,i just hid under the blankets

people tend not to believe if they dont see it with there own eyes,
i believe theres a god, and for a decent defence well i dont think anyone has the right to change someones views its up to the person to change it for themselves
i believe in a higher power, and does no one any harm. infact it can help people with there morals. il accept there are fanatics that make the whole thing into a nightmare but i stand by my belifs

No one can explain how evolution started evolution is just not life on earth but it is also our solar syatem and the universe and untill someone proves how the universe was created you have no proof as to how evolution began..

Okay lets say that a person has a terminal illness and the praying to God(whoever they perceive God to be)provides them with a sense of comfort, is that wrong? They are probably well aware that there is no coming back from a terminal illness so you would deny someone this comfort simply because you do not believe in what they are doing? Everyone has a right to choose how they meet their end same as you. I'm sure the morphine helps - physically but what about their mental state? That's important too. Its not your way but it is the way of others. I see nothing wrong with taking drugs prescribed to relieve the pain, in fact the two can go hand in hand, the belief in something does not mean you are required to stop using your brain or commonsense. That's what I mean when I spoke about perception. People's PERCEPTION of what they THINK God is or isn't is what I think dictates whether they believe or not.
