Sometimes the heated parts of arguments stem from how differently we perceive others words, (not even their beliefs) and how we set up our own belief system in those words. It makes for some iffy discussions that can get out of hand sometimes, becoming more personal than it should, but I think it all happens for a reason.
In response to: Personal? It's just healthy criticism. I never take your criticism or assertions personal, I just disagree with some of them and agree with others. If I take a strong stand for what I believe in and criticize your stand, that's all it is---a healthy discussion in my book and we always learn something and think deeper. Yeah man, we've been having these discussions for a couple of years now, and we can even have some heated discussions about football games and bets lol...
you took that personal, I wasn't even talking about you, it was about a theme Lilly were talking about, but you think its about you, personally. You see they are seperate pargraphs, one with no names so being a general comment, and the next with your name so specific comment..
You have a spiritual devotion to your c#*@k? OMG, how do you explain that one? And Pirranh has no face? Your devine creator Wonderworker is really something huh?

wonderworker is not god, A real god is faceless.
on the other hand, WW may be the real reason for SF's obsessive weeny fondling..... as a god I'm not at liberty to tell, free will and all.

Oh, I didn't see it as personal from my perspective, I just thought maybe you took it personal. Guess I was wrong. No worries. But I do wonder why you don't talk to me on skype anymore

Interesting, please do explain who you know for sure a real god is faceless such as yourself? How can you be sure? And do explain why you blame WW for the real reason behing SF's obsessive weeny fondling?
Now this is getting to be pretty deep here. WW thinks he's the god of CS member creations with an interesting explanation and now you do? Are you both the godfathers of CS...or a polyistic(spelling) god plethorim of sorts?
This is only meant to be humourous questions so please do not make anything overserious philosophically here or too graphic for our eyes
For anyone else reading this forum, don't take this bantering seriously. Join in the fun.
StressFree: Oh, I didn't see it as personal from my perspective, I just thought maybe you took it personal. Guess I was wrong. No worries. But I do wonder why you don't talk to me on skype anymore
I am still processing polaric conflict (within my self) in relation to skype-o-matic personal discussions, which I consider to be 'confidential' discussions between two people, outside of any public discourse or revelation of same. Those discussions being seemingly compromised in a thread and then run down, manifested said polaric conflict in me.
LILLYLADY: Interesting, please do explain who you know for sure a real god is faceless such as yourself?
simple I am god.
In response to: And do explain why you blame WW for the real reason behing SF's obsessive weeny fondling?
Simple,
Not blame, just fact as admitted by WW as the creator of said SF.
In response to: Now this is getting to be pretty deep here. WW thinks he's the god of CS member creations with an interesting explanation and now you do? Are you both the godfathers of CS...or a polyistic(spelling) god plethorim of sorts?
Being god doesn't preclude others from being god in their own right. It is not a monopoly but a choice of free will.
In response to: This is only meant to be humourous questions so please do not make anything overserious philosophically here or too graphic for our eyes
god hears you and answers as requested. "OK"

LILLYLADY: A bit complicated and heavy here for me. So if I understand correctly, we make a mudpie which may not be god but go and put a face on it with no eyes...then it is god?
Well, I must say mud feels real good to walk in on a very hot day. It is truly DIVINE to the body. Think of mud plaster and facials. Your face will always look and feel better afterwards. The benefits of mud are immense. Thank god for it.
Its not wise to put mud in your eyes though is it. Listen to great and wonderful oz.....errrrrm WW.

StressFree: Well, there is the monotheistic, polytheistic, and pantheistic version of God and Gods. Can they be independently verified or falsified and who gets the benefit of the doubt?
We have the monotheistic God from the Judeo-Christian-Islam heritage, then we have the pantheon of Gods perspective ranging from Mesoamerican to Pagan to Hindu to Greek to Norse and Egyptian mythologies. The list can go on and on.
In any case, we all have different meanings and perceptions of there being a God, Gods, no God/Gods and higher entities or higher selves. It's all a subjective experience that some may or may not identify with. It's pointless to try and convince somebody wrong as everybody is entitled to their version of truth and reality. We are only responsible for our truths, not others. Other beliefs should be respected, even if it is not in agreement, and discussed in a civil manner. However, once a belief is pushed on somebody as the ultimate truth and in the process creates disharmony and pain, then there is a huge problem. And it should be noted that you should continue to discover your truth in your journey of exploration and path to happiness, unconditional love, and harmony. Seed knowledge and wisdom and you will see the new doors that will be presented to you.

phoenixrising1: whence cometh ur subjective knowledge of the divine?
when i was 36 // i had no home of my own ..and i rented.... so i hah a chance to buy the house i rented....
i told the wife to sign the papers ..i was sending the realestate agent over... she said ok .... when he got there ... she phoned me back and asked if i was crazy ...since i had 90 days to come up with an extra $20,000.00.... i was an adequate provider of necessity ...but never earning more than wages...
the funny thing is ...i never doubted that god would make it possible for me to have a house for my family ...
as the deadline approached ..i asked my parents ..if need be ..could they co-sign a loan of $20,000.00 with the house as security ...but they always taught me to stand on my own...
along the way i picked up an opportunity .. and sold an apartment and i will never forget when he gave me the check for $24,000 and said to me ...you earned it... and i bought the house...
proves nothing ...but it is a moment in my life ..where i knew ... no matter how it looked to outsiders.... i just knew god was not going to let me fail in that ..or i had some kind of magic trust or faith that enabled it to happen ..but i knew it would... because i trusted him ..i do not know why or how i knew it would be successful ,, i just did...
this is subjective experience
sorry about the english dude..... from where do you have subjective experience ... if not prayer ... how do you experience the divine personally or subjectively

Interesting and fascinating story! Sounds like your firm positive belief and faith served you well and worked for you. You just assumed it would happen and it did. You kept your focus in your way, and things fell into place. Belief is a powerful thing---no matter how you believe it---even if you have faith on an external source helping you. You just knew and did not focus on how God would not fail you or any other negative thoughts. Thanks for sharing that. The law of attraction is real.
