I have a Diploma for Systems Administrator but was down for a few years,
I don't know much about mechanics or theories about computer. Got my first 1 about 3 yrs. ago, although my dad was first of 100 personal computer owners in USA,think it was a commadore.
As for the ? off the technical area for a moment, no it is really never to late to study what you enjoy and would love your job if you follow through and get hired. Realisticlly in the past people did not attempt career change after about 35. Now days people are looked at as younger and more able then years back. Check out your interest as far as employment demographics go. Your area? Also cost and time for your specific training. If in a situation where you are eligible, there are many loans but better grants for schooling.
no 40-48 is not 2 old,in my opinion I think after about 58 it is better to stay where you are. jmo
