No I dont think that a person should change their personality just because they become a couple, but it does happen unfortunatly.
I decided to walk away from a friendship because of her changing love life and changing personalities.......christ she was worse than Sheila Sheek.

no way should any one do that,tats wat makes us all unique ,if they dont like u for who u are no point in being together,I think it's natural to change a little bit, subconsciously.
However I do think a functioning relationship is based on compatibility of personalities.
To be honest, you can change certain habits of behaviour, I don't think you can change who you are without repercussions. So I say it's a no-no.

Just be yourself Deise. It's dishonest to pretend your something you're not and makes a farce of a relationship. Worse still, you'll lose all track of who you really are. Take my word here, but it's a very difficult road to backtrack. There will be someone out there who will want you just the way you are and you won't even have to try!
Thedeise: Why i am the type of person who likes to laugh and joke alot, respectfully, but i find she doesnt have the same sense of humour, i think myself i would be better off out.
If your feeling uncomfortable already its a bad sign!! You need to be yourself and if she doesnt accept who you are she isnt the one for you!! whats for YOU wont go by YOU!!

No. a person shouldn't change for anyone,you would not be your true self,hard way to live, and i know it happens,a big waist of time though
