just looking for a bit of advice please. i have always wanted to be a beautician since i was a little one. love the idea of doing peoples nails and makeup. i guess cos of the chair i never thought i could do it and therefore did business studies in college as i always thought i would only be able to do office work. i love my job and i love being a clerical officer but i still have this thought in the back of my head that i would love to do a beauticians course.

ill stop rambling now laugh basically im just wondering does anyone know of where i could do a part-time beauticians course. i know i could look it up myself online but im just too lazy so if anyone has any idea it would be great to hear. grin teddybear

My older sister is a qualified beautician and hairdresser and what put and end to her working full time some years ago was her inability to stand up for long periods of time. A good many girls in both trades suffer with swollen feet/ankles and vein problems in the long term so it does suggest that standing is an pre requisite for some of the time on the job. That said, it won't cost you a cent to check it out early on and see if there's ways around it.
