There was a train conductor in years past, he was terrible in his job and caused the death of five people. They tried twice to electrocute him for the crime. But both times he lived with no ill effects.

If the reason of this thread is to smash common beliefs then the first common belief that has to be smashed is the one referring to think that the scientific models are a true copy of reality.In fact, the solid-state physicists have had a great deal of work to explain the flow of electrons through the metal lattice, and the models have needed the introduction of energy-transporting photon-type particles whose existence is similar to -for example- the different types of RNA and enzymes used to explain biological processes. In both cases, the practical confirmation of the models at the "macro-scale" are the only reasons why the models are accepted.
My point is that, the mere idea of electrons fluttering around the lattices and using the electrostatic "difference of potential" to be pushed forward from one polarity to the opposite is just a mere idea, and not necesarily what really happens inside a conductor. When the solid-state physicist started the study of semi-conductors -and further on with the development of this science- they could assemble a better picture of the macro effects of quantum concepts used to explain the elementary jump of an electron from one atom to the other, but again, that is just a model.

I think you are under this impression people are ignorant and stupid and you somehow is a bridge between truth and faith. You’re not coming up with anything new, the old Christian philosophy does not state when you die you go to heaven, this claim is from Christian profiteers such as Evangelists, Hill Church.. etc In all the split domination from Orthodox church, such as Catholic, church of England, even Franciscans, it is stated that “ you die and you stay dead until the final judgment”
There is no more truth to John’s revelation then there is to the rest of the bible. In those days everybody thought the days were numbered even Jesus was quoted by saying in. Matthew 16:28 “There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.”Its funny that a man from god or god himself failed in this prophesy?
However, at this point my grievance is not what is and what isn’t stated in the bible as fact but rather your poor judgment of people. Which is a testament in it self, religion closes your mind to other possibilities and fails to recognize the intellectual ability of others by which you are surrounded in everyday human contact. The bible says fools! Bible also says kill the unborn, women, children and men who don’t believe same as you do. You cannot go around siphoning out material which supports your loving god theory- Either, the bible is or isnt the word of god. There are more then one way of making graven images of god, one of them would be with written or spoken words.
You keep searching and digging through the bible and eventually you will come to a dead end because everything ends with the end…simple!
