Electricity is the flow of electrons. Electrons are negatively charged. Therefore the flow is negative to positive.

Thank you! close! ....to a less negative. Electrons travel in spaces left in the valance bond.It is funny that most people will not know that and would fight tooth and nail to be right. But with proper knowledge it becomes clear.
This is the problem with people who don't know the Bible correctly. They will fight tooth and nail to be right without becoming knowledgeable. This is both Christians and athiest.

As an electrician maybe i can elaborate the way it was described. Yes electrons are negatively charged. But the simple explantion dosen't quite explain it too well too me. The flow of electricity is from negative to positive but the atoms themselfs change polarity constantly, they are fixed in time and space they don't move... only the electrons are doing the moving.

I think you described the principle perfectly and in a way that makes it easily understood. Made sense to me, but maybe I'm biased as am also an Electronics engineer

What a strange thing to say when you can't prove ANYThing from the bible.
As for having knowledge about it? You don't need to know all about greek mythology to know that Zeus isn't real to a very high degree of certainty.
Same is true of Christianity.

I didn't go into a deep discussion of electronic because only those who have studied it would fully understand. I am here to flirt with the ladies not discuss electronics or the bible with a man.

Nope. Transformers operate on alternating current though I suppose you could argue a slight phase change. In answer to the O/P, Conventional Current is regarded as a flow from positive to negative from a time before Faraday when understanding was poor but the reality is actually electron flow which as a previous poster said is from negative to positive.

I was not judging the answer to my question.....the answer was well put. I did not intend for egos to get involved.
The point is that with the question.....there is what is common to believe and there is was is correct. To understand what is correct one must study. This is the problem with people and the Bible, they contend with bits and pieces, not knowing the truth.....then declaring others as wrong. How can one call another wrong without ever knowing the subject.
Christians also do this. They believe with passion things that are simple to see in error in writing in their own Bible but continue with their false belief. Example: The three wisemen did not come to see the Christ child at birth.....he was a toddler and walking by then. But people put them in the Chrsitmas story. He was not born in DEC. He did not have long hair. He was plain and there was no comeiness about him. He was short, deep in color, he looked like a Jewish man. All in the Bible.
More: People believe that people die and go to Heaven (third)(most don't understand there are three heavens mentioned in the Bible and confuse them) If man dies and goes to Heaven right away......then the reserrection at Christ return is a lie......but man is a lier...not God.
If the people who follow Christ in their minds are so confused (including scholars) then how can those who never study, not believing hope to understand.
The don't! and there is no way to Prove to them a thing. All visable things were made by the invisable. Then they demand that the visible prove the invisable.....foolish. Only the spiritual can prove the invisable things of God. Much as thoughts and experiments suggest at the structure of atoms without proof. (atoms could be found different from common understanding at any time.)
To prove that God exist at this time.....one must study with a sincere heart and sound thinking. There are events taking place now that fulfill things written from long ago. Not close enough things, but exact things......but need be study takes place and they will not do so.......just repeat like parrots things said by others.......then they feel superior.
They are like little kids who buy a magic trick. Then when someone shows the same trick...they tell how it is done and feel they are so smart. they did not figure out the trick.....they only read the instructions..........by giving away the trick they only show how stupid they are and ego warped.
There are events coming that will give proof of God......but it will be a terrible way to learn......read Revelation!

With a dc generator ( or motor if you like)...polarity would be changed......some componets would not work in the system.With an alternating generator, componets inside are wired for a certain rotation, it would not fuction in reverse.
With a proper design to fuction as you stated could be found...but in common.....no.
