tainogirl: For those that don't really care much for all the hoopla, that don't feel lonely or depressed because they aren't part of a couple - this is the thread for you. I say those who feel like minded should declare Valentine's day be EVERYDAY, maybe if the same amount of effort was put into making the other half feel special on a more daily basis a lot less of us might be here at CS, the divorce courts would be empty and sites like CS would be out of business(come to think of it a lot of stores might not like that and wonder what the flourists will do?) In any case love can't be bottled into any one day. Just a thought. Hats off to those who make someone feel special everyday.

I don't mind that I'm alone for Valentine's Day;
well actually I'm not alone or don't fee lonely
because I got a surprise visit yesterday,my youngest
son came to see me unexpectedly!I as so surprised and
happy to see him!

I think valintines day should be everyday not just one day a year
why would you should someone you love them once a year instead of saying I LOVE YOU
everyday anyway its another money making racket
when all you need is 2 people who love each other on a couch cuddling and a film thats all i need
i think valintines day is for people insacure with themselves and they need reasuring that the person they are with love them.
maybe im just a sceptacal but thats how i feel about it
