For me the hardest part of being on this site is chatting to several different, very nice, women.
And then another one pops up.
Its Sweetie Shop Syndrome?
I've never cheated in my life (a one woman man) and feel guilty
yet know to put all your eggs in one basket is silly. One date can end weeks of talking?
When in a relationship then no exploring with others but when still exploring is it OK ?
Maybe we close our minds to the idea that the person you are getting close to, is talking to many people?
The lovely woman I'm meeting soon, logs on every day. Is she hoping for better than me or just curious?
So I reply and initiate chat with others.
Insurance. There seems to be a basic dishonesty built into computer dating. We all want honesty but keep options open by not telling the truth.
I did once shut down and tell other women I was committed.
That woman left me mid dinner to see her son who was ill, except it was a rich guy calling? 6 weeks later she came back after he'd found a younger woman.
I'm sorry to ramble on but I hope the dilemma is clear?

This is a site for adults. I am sure we all realise that there is nothing wrong with keeping one's options open.

Its all about intent, surely? If you are inter-acting with/dating several people there is nothing wrong with making that clear, is there?

Its when you are involved with several people and to any number of them you give them the understanding that they are the only one you are seeing and that a more meaningful relationship may be on the cards that you get into the realms of becoming a "Player"?! Its deceitful and intending to eventually cause hurt.

Honesty is the best policy!
