What is the Secret ingredient to Loving Relationship? This question going out to inteligent people and not imature people with sarcasm, and dumb answewrs. Because Do we all really know the secret? if so, why are we all here, and why are there dating sites? But would be interested in seeing what Normal people views on this question.

I think you've answered your own question....most people are here because they don't have a loving relationship right now, but would or could have been in one in their past, but don't know the secret, if there is one.
Maybe the question should have been what is the basis of a loving relationship?
There are many things that contribute to a truly worthwhile relationship but I am thouroughly convinced that the #1 thing is real acceptance of one another. I mean, if I can SET ASIDE my preferences/expectations and truly listen to thoughts, feelings, and perspective WITHOUT GETTING DEFENSIVE OR REJECTING then I am providing her all the comfort she requires (and vice versa).
Don't we all have good reasons for why we think?, feel?, and act the way we do? to have the person we care deeply for stand there criticizing/condemning us for how we are. Instead, wouldn't it be a real relief/joy to have our loved one INTENTLY LISTEN to what we have to honestly say about what is going in our personal world?. I can't think of a better ingredient to a loving relationship.... can you???
Communication to me is the key, we all think we know what the other is thinking but we rarely do, we can also assume that another knows what we are thinking but they rarely do.

According to some bare bones research, men are looking to be truly respected and appreciated by a woman. Women are looking to be valued, loved and cherished. It sounds like the same thing, but it is a subtle difference.
I would go a step further and say that if you make a commitment to become a student of your partner, always seeking to learn about them and do according to what you've learned, you can never go wrong. But it's a two sided process...

Brilliant, now that is a great answer, and I think its part of the secret. so the secret it seems, is more than one whole answer by the looks of things. but that is the starting of the secret i think Kalimera.

I understand you, but be honest? and think about it? do you really think that we can fully understand a man or a woman? even if we been learning about that person? you need to think about how secret woman thinks and men. but that one will never be reavealed, so then all that learning about a perosn? wil come to a sudden halt. but then the question goes to ask? do we carry on from that point, do we trust the fact to go further? even tho what we have learnt?

I say amen to that to, as i do agree with you fully, however, how can people communicate with an ignorant heart?

That's precisely why you always work at learning. You'll never fully know them - you'll never fully know anyone - but making a mutual commitment to learn is a gift.

Hey Y! Welcome back sweets. Very true. I wish things were that simple. Unfortunately it takes much more than that... Love is a battle field
