Just step back and give her the space to deal with whatever she needs to deal with. She obviously liked you if your meeting stirred these feelings up... ya never know, she might come back when she is ready. But would just be relaxed and open to everything that comes your way.... wouldn't wait around.

I know this probably doesn't help but at least she's been honest with you and hasn't tried to use you. Perhaps you were just put in her path to make her aware and help her move on. There's a big difference between being used and being useful.
A similar thing happened to me over Christmas and in someways your thread has helped me to put it behind me. Try to let go with love.

The man I met twice and spend a lovely day with didn't even bother with that. He just "disappeared" and never contacted me again (nor replied to the 2 text messages I sent. I know when to stop

) Rather rude, I think.The thing is, as has said been said above.........she may not have known she wasnt over him until she tried to move on. She could have gone on the date in the hope of really falling for you and she may have ended up comparing you to her ex (a sure sign to a girl that shes not over an ex) Im sure she didnt mean to lead you on in any way and at least she was honest about her feelings.
