I absolutely hate it when people who are going through a divorce use the kids against each other.I have a friend who is going through a dissolution. He married his wife when her children were 6 & 8.The oldest now has 2 children of her own. This past Sunday she called my friend & asked if she & her chiidren could stay with him for a few days because she & her boyfriend were having problems.Of course he said yes.Well,Sunday night arrived & they hadn't showed up so he called her.She told her they were staying at her mothers instead. Then today he tells me she called & said she told him that she didn't want him to see his grandbabies anymore.I don't get it.How can people be so cruel? It only hurts the children in the long run.
I would greatly appreciate it if you would all say a prayer for him.He is really hurting right now.His name is Mike.
Thanks bunches!

I agree. I haven't been in this situation because we divorced when our kids were grown up so fortunately there is no ill will all round. However, your post made me think about the great loss to grandparents as a result of divorce which is something that many people overlook.

Me and my ex get along ok. We have our moments where we
have to tolerate each other. But we both love my son
very much. We would never use him to get at each other.
It's confusing enough for a child without tacking on
head games and tug of war. I have a hard time being
understanding to those who hurt their children in the
process. sigh blues

Well you have to make a license to drive a car, where the f@%& is the license to raise kids. Of course i´m kidding, but many people are so full of theirself.
