snoopy1: WOW how wonderful for them i hope eveything works out for them and i wish them the very best

Snoopy, Thanks for your support.
This kinda proves you are never too ugly, beautiful, old, young, overweight, underweight, rich, poor, or anything else, to find someone who finds you attractive. Thank goodness for that. So, we all have hope to spur us on. innocent

gabrielle95: When I came on CS a few months ago, I was hoping to find THE man I've been looking for all my life. Of course, he had to be young, handsome, tall, rich, kind, generous and funny. One of my main requests was that he had to live in Cyprus, preferably in Larnaca, and able to teach me Greek. The second imperative was he would not have a moustache and/or a beard.

While waiting for my Prince Charmant, I looked at the Forums. I had such a great time; I laughed the hell out of me. I even forgot to go to the "Search" or the "Who's viewed me" sections.

On one thread, I exchanged crazy posts with one guy. We continued to tease each other through the mailbox. Then we talked on private e-mails. We had so much in common! Unbelievable!
Lately, we talked on the Skype phone and webcam.

I must confess he is not young, he is not rich, he is not tall, he does not live in Cyprus, he does not speak Greek and he has a beard and a moustache.
However, he is soooo nice, sooooo funny, soooo kind. Moreover, he dances, sings, write poems, loves cats and cooks. How could I resist?

He decided to fly over half of the world to come and visit me! He is from US but lives in Central America. His whole trip will last about 24 hours.

Can you believe this?

I'm so excited to meet him, I'm so happy.

Will this lead to a fantastic love story? A CS success story?

Or is he just a completely crazy guy? Am I just a too romantic dreamer?

Yes, it will!

You are a one lucky woman, Gabrielle peace

sophiasummer: thats sounds beautiful, i wish you always the best. from living worlds apart, to just be around the corner, i suppose success stories can happen, so i say love can emerge in many different ways. some happen some dont. if i met a nice man from far away. Space distance would not hinder me. Smile, its all good!

And they said, the internet would never amount to anything. It is really hard to believe there could be success stories where people so far apart, with such different environments and life experience could click. Perhaps we are all not so different after all.cool
Thanks so much for your good wishes. heart1

Thank you Laura, Most of us come to CS hoping to find that special someone that completes us. Whether or not one believes in God, time proves that a Man and a Woman are, in most cases, better together than apart. I believe we were made that way. uh oh grin

Congratulations to both of you, gabrielle and oldfoxyguy!!!

Be the big kids you both are. While I don't know either of you, though Gabi I've seen around...always a lovely lady...reading your posts here, says it all. You're gonna rock each other's world!

Congrats to the both of you (and to the others who've made their long distance meetings to something much more meaningful). This shows that sometimes it's worth the risk when it comes to meeting someone from farther away than you first expected.
I've been notified by a couple of men in the States (I live in Canada but it's still a distance from where these men live) and I'm seeing where this is going to take me. I'm not getting overly excited just yet but it does give me hope for the future.

He sounds real and I'm so happy for you. Long distance relationships can only work IF and when two people are trully committed to each other.

Munchkin, I admit to feeling as you do about being so far away but if he is the right guy he will do what he needs to to stake a claim on you. head banger Be yourself because ultimately that will be what he cares about.teddybear

Pabalelo, Thank you Big Guy. I hope you are as lucky as I believe I am. It can happen. I highly recommend posting in Forums and Polls so that the ladies get an idea of who you really are. That's where you can be seen by so many more people. The best of luck !

Hi Dadviv, I mentioned how much it means to go to the forums and polls. Without being there I never would have seen you and you posts. I feel like I know you and I appreciate your good wishes, Thanks.
