Olsojente: thoughT even
I thought that too Olso, or something beneficial. I think he´s worried about losing me. However the thread wasn´t really intended to be about me, I thought there would be some funny replies....well you know like Boban´s.
JAN_is: ....what would you think he wanted to say to you?
maybe just the chance to catch up in a more relaxed ambiance...maybe he wants to bring up something that has to do with work, but doesn't want prying ears or eyes...and a closed door (at the office) would rise a few eyebrows...not that lunchis not going to do that, but maybe he is in the habit of inviting his charges out for lunch? Don't read more into it than there is... and enjoy lunch!

Hi! No he´s not in the habit of inviting his teachers out to lunch, he´s too miserly! I think he wants to say something in private I agree with you, and I´m not reading anything other than a professional reason into the invitation. Just curious.
NonniBlues: I´d strongly think he´d be interested in giving you a promotion.
Good luck
he maybe wants a chance to probe the deep recesses of your mind...lift your "spirits" high above your ears and lower your "guard" well below your ankles...

The last time that my boss invited me to lunch was so we could discuss my work schedule. He had another employee come along.
I think that he chose to take me out into a public place in fear that I might cause a scene when we discussed my maternity leave. (This was years ago.)

JAN_is: Oh I will, whatever the reason for the invitation I´ll definitely do that.
whatever the menu, be careful what you order...you don't want to choke on a bone, or hyperventilate when drinking the bubbly...you'll splatter everything...projectile splatter
