ooby_dooby: Jack Benny was a comedic genius. What other comedian without saying a word, could just turn and face an audience and get laughs that would go on for 2 minutes?

PollyWolly: I also remember as my brothers are somewhat older than I am, I loved my Brother so much I wanted to Marry him....I was about 8, and he said he would, until he came home with a girlfrind, Oh was I jealous, when he announced his engagement I cried for days.......Silly sod I was!!!, I did everything to come between them, even when they would sit on sit sofa I would sit inbetween them.....Until He asked me to be his bridesmade at his wedding and talked to me explaining what it was all about.......then I understood... He was my Hero..and still is......

I remember sitting in the driveway of our house playing with my big brothers truck it was a big rig..the back doors opened and you could put alot of stuff in...This one day about a week after our dog had pups (13 of them).I stuffed all of the puppies into the truck..I was about 3years old...I also remember racing through the park once a week to meet the milkman just so I get a ride on his wagon and pet his horses..sometimes he would let me ride on them...

In response to: My earliest memory is from age 4. It was summertime and I was walking down a path at a summer camp that we went to every year because my mother was actually the camp counselor. It was a beautiful warm day and the path was lined with honeysuckle bushes. Suddenly it was like opening my eyes for the first time. I could smell the sweet fragrance of the flowers, I could see the sky, hear the birds and feel the warmth from the sun. It was an awakening. It was the first time I became aware that I was. I was born that day.

Mr. Ooby Dooby-

In one of my older blogs I think I wrote that I once was told that your very first memory is indicative of how you view yourself and your life.and is linked to your lifes themes.......I think there is truth to this...also, I once met a lady who actually vividly recalls being 6mos old...thats crazy, right?

My earliest memory is also from age 4.....my sister and I were running around in our sunday dresses outside my grandmothers house in Milwaukee, and it was starting to rain lightly, and we just danced and spun around in the rain, while my grandmother chased us around with the newspaper....

I wish I was a kid again teddybear

That´s such a wonderful memory!

My earliest are back from the time I was two or three...

opening the door of the kitchen cupboard and dropping the pasta on the floor... it made SUCH a beautiful "swish" sound!

...Going to my grandad who was beckoning to me from the front door. He was already very ill and leaning on his walking stick but stood straight...

...Watching the stars for the first time when my dad held me up in his arms and pointed at them for me.,. what a sense of wonder!
