In response to: that is holding you back from being with a man / woman....whatever the case may be?
For me i think its a bit of self confidence....like if someone says i look good, i automatically say no i don't...i can't see what others do i suppose....
just interested to know is all....

I don't like the ending of relationships. Lets face it, they all end one way or another whether it be me or 'him'.
The beginning of a relationship is the best... all tingles and butterflies. Then it stagnates and gets bad and has to finish. So, with that in mind I just can't seem to want to get into a relationship because of the inevitability of an ending. Somehow I always feel like I've wasted time with that person, and regret ever having started.
Being deep and meaningful, and sticking to Mummy's original question:
Usually what is holding us back is lack of love. Love towards ourselves, which prevents us from loving others and life. If we don't love ourselves genuinely, we experience fear.
And fear is the mother of all bad, the opposite of love. Fear stops us.
This is something I feel very deeply about because it is something I have woken up to first lately. Despite having had a good a life and been happy most of the time, there was something very vital missing. So my learning path has lead me to facing the learning of loving myself.

Getting there...
Fear is an element of the human condition. Facing it and feeling the adrenalin has a big part to play in enjoying our lives. JMO of course. The best of luck to you on your journey
