You both are correct..
CS is determining the safety and legal repercussions of providing
an instant messaging feature..
due to the fact that unlike it's domain/site software.. the
I.M. feature is integrated software provided by a third party vendor.
Thus, many "legalities" abound that must be evaluated to
determine the liability with CS should any "problems" arise..
IF... IF CS decides to provide an I.M. consideration, the
re-implantation should be within seven to ten days..
This from a VERY reliable "source"..

A lot are gifs (motion jpg) that I modify..
Some are swf files I modify.. and some are
commercial gifs that one can purchase..
(like the smilys here are gifs - 'gif' is the FORMAT)
Many places online to get..
If you wanting to know how to post,
insert, or program into a domain
(like at my sites).. I utlize html, sometines
swf format and a lot of the time flash format..
If you want to make "moving pictures/cartoons, etc.."
I usually utilize adobe flash format as even with the
newest standard (swf), it is simple...
I have posted this data before..
it ie easy.. ANYone can do it..

I have examples of basically all formats, jpg, flash, gif, etc..
and if you notice ( scroll down )
I even implamented the new swf format too..
(it is the one with the small square "data scan" )
