Oh and I know how to play games on my laptop, but I can't connect to the internet. I need some kind of chip or something from my service provider or something like that to actualy get online with it. Oh well, one day I'll get with the times and figure it out, of course by then it will be outdated like me. rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Using skype to talk

Sad to say that I have no idea what skype is. I have learned enough about a computer to tear it apart and rebuild it but thats about as far as my knowlage goes. I never even had a cell phone up until a little over a year ago. I only got it after many, many problems with my truck, and even then I only got it for emergancies. I just recently bought myself a laptop for my 40th birthday, but have no clue as on how to get online with it. I am way out of touch with things going on today. Not just that but its also a money thing. I am not rich enough to buy every little thing thats the newest trend. I have been called a minimalist by alot of people, meaning if I have no use for it, I don't need it. So now that I have completely blown any chance of finding someone, I will just bow my head and leave this thread. wave

RE: Most embarrassing kid’s moment.

OMG I actualy saw that while shopping last week. She was wearing a nice strapless summer dress holding her maybe 1 year old daughter in her arms. Anyway, the daughter accidently pulled down the front of her moms dress giving me and anyone else in eyesight a nice view.

As for my story, I was about 13 and my best freind in the world (who was black) were out at a store with my mom. We happen to be walking through the female under garments section when he cried out "hey mom" (my freinds and I always called each others parents mom and dad) "do theses look good on us?" She turned around and we were holding up a pair of matching bras. However my mom being the woman she is, just looked at us and said "Nope those colors don't match your eyes" rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

RE: dating on cs

On this site, I haven't yet. I was on another site a few years back and did meet 2 wonderful woman. Of course niether worked out, but at least the opportunity was there. I am doubtful I will find anyone on here, but I have made some freinds and enjoy the forums.

Favorite place to eat in NC?

Some great answers on here so far. Another place I just recently tried on one of my errand running days was Showmars. Good food, resonable prices and a good place to get out of the heat.

RE: USA Versus the UK

Being a born and raised (Execpt for the army travels) in the US, you would think I would go with the US bands. However, I have always been one for the British invasion. I love british comedy Ie, Benny Hill, Monty Python, Are you being served. I love UK music the best. Rolling Stones and my all time favorite.."the beatles."

one of my all time favorite songs from the Beatles

RE: Wednesdays 3 Quick Questions

1. favorite food is, sad to say, is a good old fashion chilli cheese dog.

2. has to be Sean Connery, the original is always the best.

3. Nope. haven't found anyone close to me yet.

RE: The Greatest Chase....

Me being the big James Bond fan, I had to go with that. Love to see all the gadgets Q puts on his nice car that James always seems to wreck.

RE: IT TOOK THREE WEEKS!!!!!

I couldn't be more happy for you Truelee. Glad to see this site actualy does work for some. Heres to your happiness and all the joy you find in your new relationship. cheers beer yay

RE: I wish someone would invent........

In all honesty, I wish they would invent a cure for the common cold. I have been pretty much bed ridden for the last 3 days or so with a stupid summer cold. I was barely able to get out of bed for more than 5 minutes at a time. Today is the 1st day I have been able to actualy sit at my computer without feeling nauseous or light headed. Even tried playing on my new laptop while in bed, but couldn't stay focused for very long at all. If they could invent a cure for the cold, I think right now that would be the best invention yet.

RE: WHere have you travelled to

Being an infantryman in the army I have traveled all over Korea then 2 months later I traveled all over Holland, Germany, Belgium. I have also either stopped at or just passed through about 30 of the states in the US.

RE: I wish someone would invent........

I like the transporter idea. Would make it so much easier to meet alot of people from here whom I would like to get to know better, but due to lack of funds, makes it impossible to do.

RE: I don't believe in "atheists," can anybody prove "atheists" exist?

I'll prove to you that we atheists exist if you can show me that a God exists. Some of use are not just into the no real proof of God, some of us don't get into the hype of religoin. hence this site was made.

RE: My favorite beverage is...

One of my favorite mixed drinks (back in my drinking days) used to be Yukon Jack and mountain dew. Has a very citrus taste to it.

RE: Would you have Whale or Puffin for dinner?

Thanks, I'm feeling much better today. I don't get sick very often, but when I do it's a dosey. Today I can finaly get out of bed for more than 5 minutes at a time. beer

RE: Would you have Whale or Puffin for dinner?

I have traveled from Asia to Europe in the army and tried alot of "local" cusine. I would probably try them both at least once. Although I am just getting over a very bad summer cold so any food right now would probably make me barf

RE: Eyes

For me, you can tell alot about someone in just the eyes. You can tell alot about a person if you look into thier eyes when they talk. But, what do I know, been through 2 bad marriages, and alot of unfaithful woman. rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Once bitten twice shy

For me it's not realy a number I can nail down. It was building up my whole life. Every woman I have had a serious relationship with hurt me bad. I spent many years as a hermit and shyed away from everyone due to a combonation of my 2nd wife and last girl friend. But I realise I was the fool for shying away. It was their loss and (hopefuly) someone esles gain. teddybear
