Have you ever been in a position where you kids have embarrassed you by correcting you when you say something they know not to be true? Or have you ever been embarrassed because of something they have said or done due to their pure innocence
I remember one time when my daughters were 8 & 9 yrs old..We were out for a walk on a nice summer day..as we passed the local fire hall..my oldest daughter ran up the driveway and yelled out to the firemen that were standing there... (Quote) My Mom is single ....... that was so embarrassing...

OMG I actualy saw that while shopping last week. She was wearing a nice strapless summer dress holding her maybe 1 year old daughter in her arms. Anyway, the daughter accidently pulled down the front of her moms dress giving me and anyone else in eyesight a nice view.
As for my story, I was about 13 and my best freind in the world (who was black) were out at a store with my mom. We happen to be walking through the female under garments section when he cried out "hey mom" (my freinds and I always called each others parents mom and dad) "do theses look good on us?" She turned around and we were holding up a pair of matching bras. However my mom being the woman she is, just looked at us and said "Nope those colors don't match your eyes"

Or did you ever embarrass your mum or dad?
My niece and nephew and sister were staying with me about the time the Joan Crawford movie came out. I was shopping at a grocery store, and had asked my niece (about 7 at the time) to grab one of the smaller bags. When she didn't answer, I called to her again. (daydreaming, as young uns do). I finally sternly called her attention, and said, "Would you pick up the package!" Eyeing me with just the hint of a smile, she said loudly, "YES Uncle R---DEAREST!!" did I ever get a few odd looks, but we all had a chuckle over her precociousness.
