USA are not renowned for being a soccer nation and no offence to the US but i thought England made USA look good. All credit to USA for battling as hard as they could but i think if England play like that against some of the big teams i.e. Argentina, Spain, Brazil or Germany, they will get hammered. There was no organisation whatsoever and England didn't seem to know what they were doing half the time. Milner had a shocker of a game and Green's mistake was the stuff of schoolboy goalkeeping. You would find it difficult to find one English player last night that had a good game.
Oh and before everyone says it, i know Ireland didn't qualify but we had a tougher qualifying group than most. I think the qualifiers should be done more random instead of regional and then maybe we wouldn't have had to deal with the cheating French
