If we pull off a 1950 on you....and one of the other two team in the first round gets a win....England comes home VERY EARLY....in World Cup. I suggest a new coach be immediately be sought. Also maybe some more high priced Premier league players that only know how to kick the ball long and chase. England has one game. Kick and chase.
Everyone in the world knows it. Everyone in the world uses it against you. Take away your air game. With solid defenders and goal keeping. England is in the tank and any team in the world can beat em.
Put the round ball on the ground....most English players forget the basics of a wall pass, much less the more complicated and artistic play of a Italy, France, of Brazil.
You all were so happy to draw the USA in the first round. Maybe tomorrow it will be like......Cornwallis at Yorktown....when the world was turned upside down.
