StrongSilentType: Hi, I'm new to this site and also to the dating scene. I don't go to the pub so don't get to meet that many potential 'dates'.
I just randomly found this site and registered but would like to get some advice as to what I should do to maximise my chances at meeting someone nice here.

I dont think its the quantity of people you mail but the quality. .. I suppose my advice is e-mail those who match what you are looking for . have the qualities and attrbutes your seeking .. that way there most likely to match yours and have common ground.. and take it from there.. just my opinion. but Im sure some members will also have good advice also.. all the best with it.. I gotta tell ya that the pub isnt the best
place to meet someone anyway so your grand there
The best advice I can give is watch the forums and
notice what other people say and do what works and
what doesnt .
Think what message your post is sending out before you
click on that send button
Make sure and join in the forums too and most of all have fun
Enjoy yourself here and dont take it all so seriously

as peeps have already said, get involved in the forums, and then maybe sometime when ya comfortable head to one of the meets, there is always sumeth ging on somewhere...

the thing is to use dating sites to hone yer communication skills and boost yer confidence but ya have to get out
